Taz Tagore - Writer
Co-Founder, Taz Tagore is an exceptional for- and non-profit leader with experience working on Wall Street, in the consulting sector and in the design sector. She is also a Buddhist teacher, leadership coach and author of many articles and books. She began working with homeless youth in her teens and has served homeless persons in the U.S., Canada and India with great enthusiasm for most of her life. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School. In addition to Development & Strategy, she leads all of Reciprocity’s 3-day retreats for homeless youth in upstate New York.
Alex Fradkin - Photographer
A native of California and now residing in New York City, Alex Fradkin began his photography career in 1996, originally having studied and practiced as an architect. In 2000 Alex graduated with an MFA in photography from Columbia College Chicago. He has since followed a path in fine art and documentary photography becoming an award winning, internationally published and exhibited photographic artist. In 2011, Alex published his first book, “The Left Coast”, UC Press and is in the process of publishing two additional books which are due out in 2016.
Alex’s photographs have been exhibited internationally in galleries and Museums, in solo and group shows. His images reside in numerous private, public and corporate collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Contemporary Photography (Chicago), Museum of the City of New York, Portland Art Museum, among others. Alex’s photographs have been published in most major magazines including, New York Times Magazine, TIME, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Mother Jones, GOOD, Orion, and many others.
Alex donates a significant portion of his time, photography and passion to promoting social and environmental causes. Alex is now teaching photography at the International Center for Photography in Manhattan and photo workshops to homeless youth at the Reciprocity Foundation.
